Back to School ... Weekly Clothes Organized

Since I work from home I have the luxury of clocking out and helping the kids in the morning to get ready for school.  Which is great but I have one who doesn't like to get up and one who wants me to do everything for him.  So getting dressed can be a pain.  I came across a weekly clothing organized on The Gunny Sack.  This was super easy and the boys loved picking out their own clothes and shoes to match of course!  I must say day one went pretty smooth using this!

What you need:

Organizer (I found one at Target for 6 openings)
Card Stock or Printed Fabric & Felt
Printer
Glue Gun
Self Lamination Pockets (business card size) - Optional
Foam - Optional

I hung up on the back of the boys door until we get their closet fixed.  I didn't use the printed fabric and felt like she did since I know how rough my boys are.  I found these really cool self adhesive lamination pockets that I cut the daily labels into.  I made a little ledge from foam to be glued to the organizer.  I'm a glue gun girl and glued it all together :).

Easy Peasy!

Don't forget to see the parties I link up to HERE.

  1. If I was more motivated, I would organize my boys closets, but that's probably not gonna happen lol.

  2. How fantastic - I'm sure it is fun for them to have some control and easy for you to have it all set up.

  3. I'm having one of those days. A "best go back to bed and stay away from sharp objects" kind of days. I have repeatedly clicked the "add comment" each time with a little more force than the last wondering why in the heck the box wouldn't pop up.

I just didn't scroll the screen down far enough to SEE the box. Sigh.... and my comment was going to be I wish the kids in MY house would follow such awesome organization. They wouldn't. I've tried. I can't even get them to keep dirty clothes in just one corner of their room so I know what to wash. It's a tragedy. It makes my OCD heart hurt just a little. I may go spray some bleach just to calm down.

  5. What a great idea! I fight with my kids getting up in the morning. It is so much better when we are prepared the night before!
