Make it work time ...

Tim Gunn (Project Runway, his catch fraze) I'm trying to make you proud! At work I couldn't get a jpeg to fit just right after some serious words, it decided to go where I wanted it. Well at least it was close to where I wanted it. So then on the way home the boys ask what is for dinner. First thing that pops into my head is spaghetti. I'll just take some meat out of the freezer and we'll be done.
Well that would have been nice if 1 I had spaghetti noodles and 2 cans of sauce. Don't faint Chef E, I so am not make it from scratch girl! So well I had to "Make it Work". I found some fettuccine noodles and one can of sauce. I then located some spices and tomato sauce and let's see what we can make. It actually didn't turn out too bad, hey it's better then plan B "Hamburger Helper".
Well the talk with the host people seemed to help out a little bit, he has been nicer. That was until bedtime, I got the boys in bed. He asked to use the Internet, which is he wants to call his parents. Sure go right ahead, well when I came into the kitchen he wasn't talking to his parents just surfing the net. Sorry little man your 10 and it's after 8:30pm, no Internet unless your a thirty something witty mom that people are waiting to hear from. Yup I rock, just a little self back patting on that back! Back to my story this no Internet room brought back the teenager version who immediately stomped off to his room and shut the door! Well good night to you too!
It's another great day in the neighborhood! More to come!

What I found in the cupboards!

Brown up some beef.Throw it all into a pan, and as Rick told me it's Pasta NOT Spaghetti!

  4. I love the new page layout! Too cute! I love that canned sauce. It is cheap and so good. Have you ever used the Four Cheese kind? It is the only flavor I get. E will like this. Something really reasonable, quick, easy, and delicious is WalMart brand frozen cheese ravioli. Boil as directed, warm up sauce, then mix after ravioli is done and drained. You can add extra cheese on top and bake until melted. Also good to add beef to the sauce then pour over the ravioli. Yummy!
