Tempt My Tummy Tuesday - Hamburger Noodle Casserole

You know me by now I buy things in bulk, cook them up and then mix them up in different recipes each night. So this time it was left over hamburger, found a yummy macaroni dish. One thing I would change is less bread crumbs next time.

All you need

Heat up ground beef & add onions
in casserole dish add Cream of Chicken

Add a can of Cream of Mushroom

Add Sour Cream

then stir in the meat

have a helper do the noodles.

Add the noodles

Top with bread crumbs

Out of the oven!

2 lbs. hamburger

1 c. chopped onions

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 c. sour cream

3/4 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. Accent

1/4 tsp. pepper

3 c. cooked noodles (1/2 of 1 lb. bag)

1 c. bread crumbs

Cook onions in fry pan in little oil, until tender. Add meat until cooked. Add the seasonings, salt, pepper and Accent. Mix noodles, soups and sour cream in separate bowl. Add beef and seasonings to the noodle, soups and sour cream mixture and put in a 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake for 1/2 hour in 350 degree oven (or until bubbly); uncovered.

Serves 8 to 10.

  2. Oh this sounds yummy, I would have to switch out the Cream of mushroom soup for something else as I am extremely allergic to Mushrooms.. Maybe with Cream of Celery, hmmm sounds good.

  5. This is something Rich would love! I may have to give it a try, but without the bread crumbs. Not a big fan of those on casseroles for some reason :-/.
