Red, White and Blue Fruit Skewers

My amazing friend came over the night before the fourth to help me decorate the cookies. She brought along the dish she wanted to bring out to the party so we could prep them. She wanted to make Red, White and Blue Fruit Skewers. I've sen them on several different sites but I'll link to my favorite Skinnytaste.

For the skewers:

• 14 oz angel foods cake, cut about 1-inch cubes
• 72-84 medium strawberries (about 3.5 lbs) stems removed
• 1 pint blueberries
• 24 to 28 skewers

Thread 3 strawberries and 2 cubes of cake onto each skewer, alternating between strawberries and cake. Finish each skewers with 3 blueberries. Place finished skewers on a platter and refrigerate until ready to eat.

 Alexis Notes: We did a pattern of all 3 fruit together.

Flushable Doggy Review

Under heavy protest from me we don't own a dog. I know I'm a horrible mom, but come on 3 jobs 2 little boys and one big (DH). Yes one day we will have one but that will be when I can make people pick up the poop! Well since we don't have a dog you would think I don't have to have this job, WRONG!!! Ok Here we go one side is like this

The other side had a cute flower on it
I wet the Skoy Cloth
Wrung it out
And started with the counter tops.

Then the floor!

Did that really come off my floor?

Check it out rinsed right off.

I swept and instead of wiping up with a paper towel took my Skoy Cloth.

Check it out picked it all up!

Wow it cleaned the table, chairs and floor!

I'm tired now!

My work is done and in the washer it goes!
