What is on for the Weekend ...

It is our last weekend of Football games this weekend!  And I must say I am happy it is over the $70 was a waste of money for a very unorganized system that we don't get to even keep the jersey's like they said we would be able to when I paid the money.  I will stick to the items that can be done at the YMCA that are free, well included in our monthly fee we pay.  Sadly due to the football game we will miss our Swim and Tumble lesson's this weekend.

We had hip hop class sch for Thursday night but Caden got a tummy ache and threw up all over my car ... ugh.

For this weekend I do plan to do one last football themed item.  Thinking Football Cream Puffs will be on the menu!

I found this idea on Bubbly Nature's Creation
We have a Birthday party at the Pumpkin Patch that the boys are super excited about!

I also need to make something yummy for our amazing tutor who is going over and beyond to help Cole!

PLUS the house is cleaned since the house cleaner came in on Thursday.

I am truly blessed and so happy to say I needed a little help and took the advice to get some!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Halloween Must have this year ... My Minon's

I had so much fun making my R2D2 costume last year that I thought why not make the boys this year!  They have requested to be Minion's.  I went on a hunt for easy costume's to make.  I found this really easy Homemade Minion costume by Sunny at The Home Place.

I put a SOS out on Facebook to get some help, my sewing machine died and I so need one to make the pants.  As I always say I can rock a hot glue gun just not so much on the sewing side.

Here is what we will be making!  Cute huh? Cole wants to be the Purple Evil one (Go figure!), and Caden wants to be the Yellow one.

Here is Sunny's Finished Creation
Fingers crossed mine turns out as cute

Wish me luck!!

Angry Bird Lunch - Chuck and Red

Our last Angry Bird Lunch theme this week will feature Chuck and Red (yes I had to google their names, since the boys were asleep when I made this ... hehe).  This was actually a super easy one.  This is my 2nd time making red and I found some tricks to make it easier this time around.  Then Chuck was so simple, who could complain (this is after yesterday's angry bird lunch that almost made me want to throw the lunch and say never again ... lol).

What you need:

Chuck - PB&J Sandwich cut into triangle, Yellow Cheese, Black frosting gel (for the glue), Wilton Candy Eyes & Wilton Licorice.

Red - Babybel Cheese, Carrot (for nose), Black frosting gel (for glue), Wilton Candy eyes & Wilton Licorice.

Cheese Nips Angry Bird Crackers for the side.

I think I will hang up my Angry Bird Lunch making skills for a while .. lol

Angry Bird Lunch - Angry Bird & Bomb Style

Next on our Angry Bird Lunch theme was one that I swear I will never do again.  I agree with Melissa at Another Lunch that this was a pain in the butt to do .. hehe.  It was a one time I did it and I won't do again.  It's not that it was crazy shapes just a lot of little work that took time.  My rule is while the egg is boiling I get the lunch done.

What you Need:

Bombs (well that is what I called them) - Olives with icing eyes and carrot beaks.
Matilda White Bird - hard boiled egg with carrot beak, olive feathers and black frosting eyebrows, and eye balls.
Pigs - Grapes with black and white icing eyes.
Red - Babybell cheese with a carrot beak and Black icing eyebrows and eyes.

Yes I put the pigs the wrong way, oh well I gave up by then.

Not a simple one like the other's but worth a one time try :).

Angry Bird Lunch - Pig Style

I've seen all over Pinterest several versions and thought why not give my hand at some Angry Bird lunches for the boys.  I saw several versions and forgive me I just kind of ran with it and used some here and there of the idea's but I didn't write down who had the idea, so forgive me for plagiarizing on the lunch idea.

This was a VERY simple one to do, my pig came out cute.  I did use my brown Wilton Candy writer to make his nostrils and I must have pressed too hard on one side since it is very brown ... oh well life right?

What you Need:

Sandwich (I made PB&J)
Knife
Babybel Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese Slice
Circle Cutter (I used one of my cupcake filler hole maker .. yup its technical terms)
Wilton Candy Eyes
Wilton Candy Writer (brown)

Make Sandwich cut into 1/3, place in lunch box to look like the towers in Angry Bird game.  Unwrap Babybel Cheese, I kind of squished it to make it oval instead of a circle.  I then took my cupcake tool I use to remove the centers to make the nose and did the same thing squished it to be oval instead of round.  I place it in the center with 2 Wilton Candy Eye's on each side.  I took my brown Wilton Candy writer to make nostrils (be careful not to press to hard or it will look too dark like mine).  Put the pig in the middle of the towers! I added some Angry Bird Cheese Nips and Carrots!

Another simple one to make!

Friday Funny!

We don't get out very often but this is so true.  HECK this is true for just getting the kids out the door for school.  Darn kids ... LOL  I hope to maybe even go out this weekend, we'll see.  I'm still so tired I may just get more sleep ... lol.

I'm still recovering from being in Boston and now trying to get my legs back on my routine, so why not post a funny.  I'll be around soon to say hi, sorry I'm missing you all.  I saw this on FB and just had to share a funny.
