What is on for the Weekend ...

It is our last weekend of Football games this weekend!  And I must say I am happy it is over the $70 was a waste of money for a very unorganized system that we don't get to even keep the jersey's like they said we would be able to when I paid the money.  I will stick to the items that can be done at the YMCA that are free, well included in our monthly fee we pay.  Sadly due to the football game we will miss our Swim and Tumble lesson's this weekend.

We had hip hop class sch for Thursday night but Caden got a tummy ache and threw up all over my car ... ugh.

For this weekend I do plan to do one last football themed item.  Thinking Football Cream Puffs will be on the menu!

We have a Birthday party at the Pumpkin Patch that the boys are super excited about!

I also need to make something yummy for our amazing tutor who is going over and beyond to help Cole!

PLUS the house is cleaned since the house cleaner came in on Thursday.

I am truly blessed and so happy to say I needed a little help and took the advice to get some!

My weekend in pictures :)

Wow is it Thursday yet? Wednesday was a blur of craziness! I had a proposal due at work and usually it's crazy but I've never had one go like this. I was working with another company and it just shows how hard it is when 2 people aren't in one office. Plus I didn't receive the information until Tuesday @ 1pm!!! Sadly it wasn't what I needed so I had to do what I could to make it pretty and fill the requirements. I ended up working late Tuesday and coming in early Wednesday, I promise to stop by soon! Also with all my craziness I put up a wrong book for giveaway, I'm so sorry everyone. I'll put the corrected book up and everyone that has already entered I'll re-enter you in the new giveaway, again I'm so sorry. Sometimes all these balls I try to juggle get mixed up!

So this weekend was a nice one, well as much as it can be ;). Saturday I mixed up and thought I had a wedding it's this weekend! So I had my parents lined up to watch the boys and Cole was to stay the night. Since I messed up Cole still got to stay with them, this is his 4th time staying the night there and he was super excited! My parents are amazing grandparents always buy nice things for the boys and have us over for dinners frequently. They just aren't the type of grandparents that have the boys stay with them often or just come hang out. I'm hoping when the boys are older and better at not touching things in their house they can go visit more, it would be a nice break every once in awhile ;).We met my mom at Macy's to get Cole some pants for school and to see her new car! My parents are so funny and SUPER clean people, I almost didn't get to ride in the car since she didn't have a floor mat ... LOL :).

After dropping Cole off Caden and I headed home to a sick daddy. Ok ladies is your husband a baby and a stinker when he gets sick? Oh boy Rick is the worst when he is sick. So we hung back and just enjoyed our time. I actually organized pictures of food post for the next few months (yes I'm crazy and have them scheduled up to January of next year)!

Sunday my parents dropped Cole off at Church, I know 2 weeks in a row! I was super excited to go the band was amazing and I met some new people. I really love this church and Cole is doing well in Sunday school he is getting a little stern talking to which I thinks helps him with boundaries! I really love this church and would love to become a member but they would like you to go to a few meetings which is great but one is 1 1/2 hours and the other is 3 1/2 hours. I'm just not sure how I can make it work with the boys and Rick's work schedule. I hope they will still let me come, and maybe in the future I can go. I'm always game to help with bake sales :). Plus the bible studies are nice but they also are on Thursday nights 7pm to 9pm! Just hard to work with our schedules, plus I'm easing into this :).

Monday home all day with the boys, and yes it rained and thundered the whole time. Oh yeah did I mention I worked all day, plus everyone is sick now! Yup so my world.

Then today after that crazy day at work I come home Rick and Cole stayed home sick. You got it the whole house was mess. How can two sick boys destroy a whole house? So of course I have to clean the house and you know it Rick still sick and grumpy. I think I may run away, anyone have a free space? I'll cook :).

Cole every day calls my parents on my cell.
Caden took the my old phone now the play phone and called me :).

Weekend Wrap Wednesday ~ Yet Anoter Sick one ...

UGH ... When will I be well again? Well I broke down and went to the doctor, I know close your mouth! But then the reason I hate going to the doctors, mine was of course not available they squeezed me in. Great of course traffic sucked and go figure 10 minutes late, hey no whoopee they make me wait like 1/2 hour ever time right? Of course not today she's on time so guess what I now have to wait, yup don't you just love that turn around? An hour late I get taken back to go to the dreaded scale. Really I'm sick do you think that is torture enough? Nope hop on, so I do the whole look the other way thing. You know because if I don't look at the number then it won't be true right? Then I go back to the lovely little room, mind you Caden in toe (who also is not feeling good). The whole time thinking ahhh it can't be that bad right? Then the nurse starts entering in all those numbers and usually I look the other way today since I was in need for more pain right now. I looked and almost fell off my chair Holy Crap, I REALLY need to loose some weight. So there it is girls I've said it and NOW I have to do it, I'm going to do it. Yes I need to keep saying that until my elbow and mouth disease stop, you know that one every time my elbow bend my mouth opens ... LOL

Back to my lovely doc replacement, who was a lovely Russian Woman that had a very thick accent and I probably looked def also since I was leaning in trying to hear the words so I could understand her. Poor thing I think was new because she kept telling me what the book says for colds! So rounds and rounds we go for moxicylen if it would be ok to give it to me or if I need to wait another week like "the book" says. Finally she agrees to give me some and then ask about what spray I'm using. I say Afrin and you should have seen her face, like I slapped her! I guess Afrin is bad it can be addicting! So guess what she wants me to take yup a steroid for my noise ... LOL.

So after all that and Caden feeling sick you think she would look at him too. Nope that would be another copay and a different visit ... UGH! Whatever! Off to the pharmacy I go and another 30 minute wait, oh my life! So I walk around Target to spend more money I didn't need and a runny nose mom and toddler bumping up and down the isles wasting another 30 hour of my life. Finally it's time I go to pick up my prescriptions, 1st one rings up $4 alright I can deal with that and then the kicker $40 for the next one. Poor guy behind the corner never saw what hit him, I was like WTF ... well I didn't swear but I was very shocked. Of course this stupid steroid has no generic! So $40 and here I am ... no wonder you get addicted you want to use every last drop for that cost ... just playing but still $40 for 17 squirts? And 17 squirts? What is up with that when you're suppose to spray 2 per nostril? Yup if this sick brain can't wrap it's mind around that one!

So it was a sick weekend, got a call from Cole's school Friday to pick him up with a 102.2 temp. Had to leave early since Rick of course couldn't. Mind you I left early Wednesday because of being sick, had Thursday schedule off for the field trip and now leave early on Friday. Yup boss not happy, I just can't win. Then Saturday besides working both jobs, we went to the lake to enjoy hopefully some sun and water and it was just too hot. Caden started puking everywhere, I pick him up and oh yeah puke down my back too! Sunday I couldn't move off the couch, no craft day :(. And Monday my usual day off but working for the other job I couldn't even move then either! I couldn't even get enough strength to check emails!

So there it is a poop and sick Alexis ... UGH! Sorry I haven't been commenting this week, I'm hoping to be back in full swing soon. If not Saturday watch out I'll be on all of your sites! Sorry again, miss reading all your fun sites!
