Can Adults have snow days too?

There are a few things I miss about being young and going to school, you know friends, parents paying the bills and SNOW DAYS. When your a grown up and it snows bad you have to take a day off work, pray that you have either vacation or sick leave to cover the day. I think we need to petition that as Adults we get snow days also, well why we're at it let's go for holiday breaks too! Ok now I know I'm dreaming here, but let's go to that nice warm fuzzy place were my feet are toasty and my car isn't covered with snow.

Cole's school was to close early, I was going to leave around 3:30 but our receptionist took off leaving me to cover the phones. Our bookkeeper wanted to leave too but that would leave the phones uncovered, so I had to stay until 3:50. Which in a normal day to get to daycare by 4:30 would be no problem. Well you add snow in and the 15 minute drive to pick him up turned into an hour and a half along with picking the two up at Grandma Pats. It's still coming down and since they won't let us go home early I doubt a snow day and the office closed tomorrow is going to be an option. So I'm going to take my hot buttered rum and my dearform slippers along with my fuzzy Victoria Secerts Robe (See Rick I do wear it) and curl up with a book. *Knock Knock back to reality, guess I need to make dinner and control these 3 monsters who have cabin fever!

Oh geez I need to climb back to reality!

Well this is what the kids want, but I think I'll pass =D

  1. I home schooled my kids from 3-8th grade and it helped when they got sick and we had 'Icey Days' in Texas...I will sign your petition though...

  2. Wow your amazing I wish I had the patience to be able to do that. I think I might have been bald after a week.

Love the Icey Days, maybe that will be second on the ballet :)
