Tempt My Tummy Tuesday - Impossibly Easy Ham and Cheddar Pie

First off a Thank you to my girl Kel @ Girl in the Glasses and amazing blogger who I think is just way too funny, you must check her out (after of course you read my yummy for today). I saw this amazing idea on her site and have to do it too. Thanks to making yummy meals almost every night my Make Something Mondays are already schedule threw the end of the year. Yes you read that correct I actually have done enough recipes post threw December 2009!!! So I need to find another fun way to show of my recipes I find and Tempt My Tummy Tuesday fall right in it. So here it goes girls a great way to deal with those Ham left overs from Easter, and a special thanks to my Betty as in Betty Crocker!


What you need!
Add the ham (I used more than called for, love ham)
Add Green onions
Add Cheese
Add apples (I diced them up in food processor)
Add Bisquick in separate bowl
Add milk
Add pepper
Add eggs
Add liquids over ham mixture
Mix it all up and ready for the oven
Out of the oven, very yummy!
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups cut-up cooked ham
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
1 small cooking apple, peeled, chopped (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix
1 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs

1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease bottom and side of 9-inch pie plate with shortening. Sprinkle ham, cheese, onions and apple in pie plate.
2. In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour over ham mixture.
3. Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

  2. Looks good. I would use turkey though. I am a piggy lover and do not eat that stuff. Thanks for sharing. I read this blog a few days ago. She is so funny. Kind of like me. Guess what? The poser was out today.
