As many of you know True Memoirs are not always my thing, I love a good murder mystery that takes me far from my world. Then on the other hand I'm the one that can get drawn to a book by it's cover. The cover of The Impostor's Daughter just kind of made me giggle and I knew I had to check out the book. Then it arrived and I opened it up to find the pages done up like a cartoon. You know the kind that we would wait all week until Sunday when our parents would give us the funny pages. Did I just give away my age? LOL even better my grandfather would wrap presents in the funny pages ;).

Laurie Sandell wrote a a great book that is put together with an amazing illustrations, cartoon style. Laurie Sandell grew up with a dad that was larger than life, that drew a close line between being in awe of and fear of. As she grows up she mirrors her dad trying on different personalities that are over the top. That is until she lands the perfect job interviewing stars and her upbringing gives her the perfect fit with the stars. You laugh and be on the edge of your seat at times, but it's a great way to see a book in a different way.
