It’s the Small Things :)

I was leaving the gym the other day and sitting at a red light I look over and smile at the guy next to me.  I always like to smile at people either while I’m driving or when I’m out and about I find that it makes me feel better and heck it always brightens my day when someone smiles at me.

So back to my story I smiled at the gentleman next to me and was about to turn back to patiently (ok cursing in my head that this red light will go quicker) to see he was rolling down his window.  He smiled back and yelled at me thank you for smiling that was the first time someone has smiled at me in a long time.  Thank you!

Yup I made his day and I hope to keep doing it.  It made me smile for the rest of the day and that there is hope that the small things (in this case smile) can make a difference.

NOW GO OUT THERE AND SMILE!!!

Although it got me in trouble once with a guy, who then asked me out, and I had to turn his smile into a frown LOL true story!

  9. How wonderful! My Grandad used to say "Smile... it'll make 'em wonder what you've been up to!" (LOL!) & My Mom always said "It takes MORE muscles to frown that it does to smile, besides - think of the wrinkles! You might as well smile..." We never know what some chance encounter might bring to the other person.... & who wants the frown-lines, right? So might as well smile, it might make YOU feel better, too!?!?!?
