DIY ... Housewarming Gift for Her (but can be made for him too)

One of my good friends from high school moved to a new apartment and I wanted to make something special for her and did some searching on Pinterest.  I found lot's of one's using kitchen utensils but she's already lived in a house so I didn't want to do that.  I saw a cool one on Martha Stewarts website and took that idea and ran with it.  She did a cute bucket, but I was on a limited budget so I hit up the dollar store and Wal-mart for some great deals.

My Version:

You can add or change items but here is what I put in it.

Basket
Batteries (AA & AAA)
Tape
Goof Off
Light Bulbs
Furniture Buttons (put on the bottom of stools so they don't scratch)
Scissors
Super Glue
Lighter
Nails
Picture hanging kit
Microfiber Towel
& the emergency candy bar! :)
Ribbon & Paper to embellish

I used my Cricut to cut out the letters and put it on the paper that I attached to the basket.  I added some ribbon that I weaved threw the holes and tied a bow.  I added some tissue paper to the bottom and wrapped tissue paper around the stems of the glasses so they wouldn't break.

I thought it turned out pretty cute!
I love doing these little baskets for people & they seem to be big hits.

There's your business - make gift baskets for people. Just mark 'em up a bit for your time and creativity.
