New Workout .. I may not be able to move soon

If you follow me on FB you see that I've been trying out a new kettlebell work out.  I have been doing the Jillian Micheal's Kettlebell workout for several months.  Two weeks ago I went to up my kettlebell weight.  I went up to 7lb (I was trying to find an 8 and of course couldn't find one until I found this 7lb one!!).  I did my Jillian Michael's workout using this new weight.

WELL Wednesday I thought why not try the DVD that came with the new kettlebell.  OH lord I thought I was going to die.  REALLY I though Jillian was hard work out until I tried Brook Benten's workout.  It's 25 minutes after 7 minutes I almost quit.  But I stuck threw all the squats and swings.  I thought I was going to die I was sweating in spots I didn't know had sweat glands.  I was wheezing out and out breathe.  And what did I do I went back the next day and did it again!  

I can hardly walk, my legs are like they have lots their bones are just jello.  I think the boys may have to push my chair out to the car to take them this morning.

I introduce you to Brook Benten from the GoFit series.  I swear she is tougher then Jillian ... hmmm well maybe not but man right now my legs won't agree with me.

  1. Kettleball workouts are HARD. I've tried them and won't go back. I've also tried Body Pump at my gym, and after my first class, I couldn't move for almost a week, so I am all set. I don't need weight training anyways, I need cardio to lose the weight.

  5. Good for you! I admire people who can be motivated to work out at home. I find every reason not too, that is why I have to leave the house to workout! You go girl!

  6. Good for you! I need some of your motivation and will power. Exercise is not one of my favorite things to do but you seem to be enjoying it. Keep up the good work!

  11. This is good to know! I do a kick ass weight routine but we wanted to throw in a 15 minute kettle ball blast in to close things up but this one if it's really good I may check into! Let me know....
