Wow another weekend I think I sat down at one point!

It was one of those amazing weekends that kept us a moving!  Saturday was the day of stuff as much as you can in one day.  Saturday was a busy day at work and then some running around then off to a bouncy house party!  Since we live in the North West it of course rained but the kids had fun anyways!  It was a great time plus it was at a friends house that I haven’t seen since High School.

Then after the birthday party we head back home to meet Cole’s school at the Rainier’s Game.  Can I say again how much I love this school.  Our tickets came with a hotdog, chips and a drink.  The boys actually did really well.  Caden got a bit antsy but it was fun and for you who know me know I HATE baseball and I actually enjoyed it.

Then Sunday after church we headed to a friends house for a little play time.  I then thought we would go to a park. So after 2 places and a no go I thought what the heck let’s go to McD’s and the kids can play.  This is when I almost went postal!  There were around 20+ kids running screaming.  When a BIG dad came marching up to me screaming at me I need to check my kid and he was out of control and he threw a young kid?  I was WTF?  Cole is a lot of things loud and has tons of energy but I HAVE NEVER seen him throw a child.  Then the guy brought the mom over to me to show the back.  I made Cole apologize but I was beyond words.  If I was on my game I probably would have smacked the dad.  I talked to Cole and Caden later and he said in tears he never threw the kid.  He did trip and accidently pushed him.  I was so furious that guy made me feel so small along with all the NASTY looks I got from other parents that had no clue but immediately made my son the bad guy.  NEXT time dude you get in my face you’ll be on your arse!!

It was my turn to make dinner for the youth group at church so I whipped up a great potato soup (I added in some spinach to give them a little more veggies).  I know most of these kids only eat fast food so I love to make sure I give them something new each time it’s my turn.  The youth group leader came up to me on Sunday to tell me how much they enjoyed it! Got to love that! Smile

WWW ~ Mobile Gamer Event Games2U @ Clowns Unlimited and other Fun Stuff

We had yet another amazing fun weekend, well Friday was our busy day the rest of the weekend was pretty relaxed. Friday my bloggy friend Stacey @ Because I must blog invited the boys and me to a mobile gamers event! Rick had to work and was very sad he missed this event (see blogging can bring you good things ... uhum Rick). We headed to Kent to the headquarters for the Clowns Unlimited, thanks google maps I drove up and down the street 20 extra minutes since it told me to take a left instead of right! UGH, but once we got there the boys jumped out and were ready to go! I walk into there warehouse and am just shocked with the amount of Bounce Houses that are stored there. I believe they said they had like 4,000 different ones to choose from.

What impressed me is not that had this many to choose from put the different themes that you could pick. Ok you all know I'm crazy with themes and nothing stops me when it comes to the boys birthday parties. I always pick a new theme for each party, that was the cool part browsing their catalog I saw all the different Themes. Let's say you're doing a cartoon characters like Spiderman, Blues Clues, Dora the Explorer, Sponge Bob or just a few to choose from. Cartoons not your thing well why not Sea World, Monster Truck, Choo Choo, Fire Truck just to name a few. So you're saying but they are like $250+ for the day. Ok so our birthday budget is usually $185 for the museum which is 2 hours (1 hour of play and 1 hour of food/presents), my girlfriend does the Bounce Houses place that is like $250 for 2 hours same thing 1 hour of play and 1 hour of food/presents). So for the same price she's paying she could get a Bounce House delivered to her house for 4 hours! The kids could actually play for 4 full hours if they wanted to, plus it's at your house and you don't have the food restrictions like at those places they don't allow you to bring food and you have to buy there $20 pizza. Let's see what is a better deal? Yup I think we'll be rethinking our birthday plans also!

Bounce Houses not your thing they have Clowns, Comedians, Entertainers, Casino Parties, Interactive Games and Concessions. Then they have the mobile game theater that has some amazing games to choose from, Cole was so excited since we have a Wii now that he can rock the bowling at. The mobile game theater is equiped with Wii and Xbox 360 and all the games to go with it (100's of games). We of course had to go with bowling, Lego Indiana Jones and Caden rocked on the Guitar Hero drums! Check out our experience, we had! If you live in Washington or Portland check out Clowns Unlimited. Perfect for parties, carnivals, family picnics and more!

Do you see the stacks of Bounce Houses
Yup stacks of cotton candy (a bite and then I put it "away")

Oh yeah the boys are rocking it!
Onto the rest of our weekend! I finally got in to get my hair done! My classic dark underneath with the highlights on top (really I'm blonde but the older I get the darker it gets so the highlights help and I only do a partial because I'm cheap I do the dark underneath to hide my dishwater blonde).

Now I finally got a chance to get out of the house, yeah. But again the me time was my usually very quiet hairdresser had her relative there and while I was reading my book she talked over my head the whole time. LOL yup it was peace and quiet then her grandkids came, and you know I love kids. Overall not bad but not the relaxation I was hoping for! LOL, but love my new color.
And we end the weekend at my parents house with the boys decorating some cars my mom got the boys. They lasted like 5 minutes decorating before me and mom had to finish. Cole was being a turn and got a stern talking to. Caden being 2 is just learning the word "no" he told my mom "no" I don't think he even really knows what it means but whatever. But then she spanked him, I was a little shocked. My 5 y/o that was being a turd and a little mouthy just got talked to but the 2 y/o got spanked. Love them to death but you know Cole is the first and has that special bond, I just hope the older they get the bond grows. I know it's just the way it goes.
And oh yeah I baked a bit ... lol. My neighbors let Cole come hang out several days a week and I like to bring over goodies to say thank you for letting him come over. I tried a new recipe along with the brownies I showed you Monday. These were very yummy but of course not as pretty as the picture ... LOL.
