I'm Weak! I gave in for a new coffee maker.

A little back story =D. As many of you know Rick works 3 jobs (1 Full + 2 Part Time). He doesn't have many actual days off and when he's home and awake the kids are going to bed or just getting up ready to leave. Most of the daily routine falls on mom, which I have taken on and most days it's just life. Now of course I would love a day out with friends. I'm not a big go out to the club girl but just hanging with friends would be fun for me! Rick doesn't usually have weekends off and if he does I work Saturday AM and Saturday PM so both weekend nights are pretty much shot for me.

Now Rick doesn't go out often but he does get to hang with friends every once in a while along with he bounces at a bar so he gets the whole going out vibe. He's days off usually land during the week so he can go out with the guys. Which I don't hate but of course I little jealous and would love to go out too! Heck I would love to go on a date! So I was having a day the other night and he got to go out to a hockey game and out to play pool I was in a pissy mood and let him know it. Again NOT upset that he got to go out just pissy that I'm always in mommy mode and no me time.

So how to get me out of my pissy mood, yup you bribe me with coffee! And even better a coffee maker I asked for Christmas but didn't get do to getting the boys the dog. So YES I'm weak and sold out for a coffee maker ... lol. Not as good as going out but hey I do get some nice coffee for the AM =)!

I GAVE up never could win one and DARN if I couldn't get one to review so this paid all by us :).

Weekend Wrap Wednesday ~ I think I may have sat some point?

Our weekends are usually crazy busy but this weekend was over the top! And guess what next weekend is looking the same :(.

Rick was earning some great brownie points! Gave the puppy a bath, used my new shark to mop the floor and showed up with roses for me. He's finally getting the hang of being a little romantic and helping out.

Saturday was a NUT house! First started with 6am working until 9am. 10am we hit Lowe's kids clinic! The boys love these, I think I do MOST of the work and have to use my mom stern voice a few times :).

Then home to for a nap and then back out we went! We stopped up at my parents house lasted about 20 minutes and my parents house which is like a museum of fine arts and antiques could no longer hold us :). 2:30pm we hit our first birthday part, it started at 3pm but we had to go early since we had another party at the same time. Of course the SeaHawks were playing and this is a big football family, so the first part of the party was the adults watching the game. Bad day for a party, but who the heck would have thunk we would be at that game.

My boys are so me and just plopped their butts down to eat :).

And we're off to a 2nd Birthday party, thankfully the game was wrapping up and we got there just in time for the cake (best part) and guess what plenty of food :)! The boys had fun, but a little at the breaking point ... hehe. But we did go overall and guess what we still had to hit the grocery store. And oh yeah I had to work my Saturday night job at 11:30pm. Oh yes it was a LONG day!

Sunday was church, home to do some cleaning, met up with Rick for lunch and then I tackled the pantry and drawers. Can I tell you I love Rubbermaid (no they didn't give me any I bought all my own, but it rocks). I do everything from the bulk section so it is best to put in a way I can see it and organized.

Ok I'm pooped just typing this and guess what next Saturday I found out we have the same thing going on except for the kids clinic so hey maybe I can get a nap in :).

Time for mom ...

Ok I don't always paint my dear husband in the best light, he truly is a good guy but still deep down he's a guy. And heck it's funnier to point out the pouting and screaming then it is the loving things. I must give him props last night, he could tell I was totally stressed by the time I got home. I forgot we were out of fish food and remembered of course right when I was a block away from home. Which left me very few options to find fish food, I ended up going to the Lakewood Mall to the pet store. This made us getting home even later since oh yeah I worked an hour over on a proposal that is due Thursday. This made us get home close to 7pm which made dinner a late one. Rick ended up coming home around the same time and with out hesitation loaded up the two older ones and took them to Wal-Mart. Yeah an hour to myself to finish dinner and hey check my email. It was a glorious time for me. Rick on the other hand had to hear someone complain over and over again that their dinner was late! So being the nice guy he is he stopped at Taco Bell and got some Cinnamon twist to tide them over. Well someone didn't like them and then promptly requested french fries. Yup Rick is not as diplomatic as me and set this certain somebody in their place about being gratefully and that he'll just have to wait for dinner. Bless my hubby some days he really comes thru for me.

On another note since I'm just the maid/cook I'm not told about things going on in school. Like a boy in his school had lice! Yup not something I need to know! Or he's out of money, plus $50 is missing, which he joking said we took it (which Rick set him straight that it wasn't funny and we've NEVER have seen or touched his money). Oh yeah that next week is PJ day and he 1 doesn't have PJ's and 2 doesn't have any money for them. Well dude I can take you to the Goodwill and pick some up and you can pay me back, but HELLO you need to talk to me! So Rick is my line of communication these days! Oh well that's fine I'm done going over and beyond, hang out in your room come out only when Rick is here or when your food is served. It's easier for me and it's your lose if you don't want to learn and be part of the family, you can't say I haven't tried or gone over and beyond. I think sometimes you just have to let life takes it course, you can't force things that aren't willing to be forced. You know like those jeans I once wore in College, yup forcing them up and over my thighs is not going to make them zip up (ok getting them up to my thighs wouldn't even happen). Ok enough about that, my new outlook is to just go with it and make the most of what I've been given. Just enjoy the moments with my kids. Ok so here's the story! Cole was taking a bath, I turned to do laundry and heard a little splashing and didn't think a thing about it. Until I saw this when I came in and saw this. You know we've been working with Cole to go poop, well when he was taking a bath he had to poop. So he jumped out (literally check out all the water) and went poop. Well his hands were all wet and that made the toilet paper clump and then he got it stuck everywhere. So the tears and screaming got my attention to come help clean up the mess! At least he made it to the bathroom in time and no floaters in the tub.

I'm ready for school. We tried to get this

backpack off and he only did it when I bribe with food!
