Minecraft Party Wrap

I still have one more week of post to share next week but I wanted to show the party all wrapped up.  We had it at the Local YMCA so I wasn't able to take pictures of the kids in the pool or going down the slide.

As my comical luck would go I few things of course went not according to plan.  I was so busy trying to get all these items together I didn't call people I just sent a FB invite which didn't reach some people.  I didn't give a call or a text like I should have, but lesson learned.

We got to the YMCA and found out that a kid puked in the pool!  OH Yes so the swim part of our party had to be moved to the middle.  We did the gifts first but of course no one could eat, have you ever had to tell kids no eating?  We had to wait almost an hour then let the kids in the pool.  OF course they could swim but the slide was closed for yet another hour!  YUP but we got an extra 1/2 hour in the pool and they opened the slide.  So then our party got pushed out over an hour.  Oh yes it was fun, not man kids showed but we made the most of it.

    SO glad the party was a success! Can you believe that the boys told me yesterday that they changed their minds and want a pokemon party now instead of a minecraft one!

    Gah - puke in the pool. Glad they were able to get you sorted out though. It looks like the kids had lots of fun in spite of the erm, delay.

    You never know what you might find at the YMCA pool I guess. That is pretty gross... but I am sure they got it all cleaned up.
