Still on my quest to eat healthy, even though I’m not seeing a huge number loss on the scale I’m loving our meals. First on our list is a favorite with out all the calories, Chicken Teriyaki with Broccoli.
Next on my list is a favorite of mine, this version of General Tso’s Chicken wasn’t as yummy as the fried favorite but it did get an “ok” from Rick .
General Tso's Chicken (WW)

Another take out favorite with out all the calories.

I ran to a blog who commented that people who read books at the gym need to stay home because what can we really expect to accomplish since we aren’t really working out.
To this Arse I must say I can do an hour on the Elliptical and burn 757 calories. Now I could sit on the couch and read but I wouldn’t burn any calories (probably add some with whatever I put in my mouth). So to you sir you can SHOVE it!
He also commented about the chubbies their clothing choices and why there are at the gym and just need to move on. It’s people like you that make people who are over weight not want to go and then put themselves down an dive into food as comfort. So you sir (which is a long stretch of the word) and other’s like you won’t make me feel like I don’t belong. I pay my dues I go to the gym and work out (even yes read the book). I will take back my life and get a control on my weight, you can call me a chubbie and make comments all you like but you will not discourage me!
Come on it is joyful every minute!! Ok we know it may not always be a shining moment every moment of the day. But there are those glimmers of light that make me not want to duct tape them to the garage door so I can finish pull the rest of my hair out. I just keep chanting to myself everyday I love them. Then I get I can I get a hug mom or “I love you mom” and it melts my heart. I just know that I need to cherish those moments threw the college and probably 20’s until they become a real person we enjoy to hang out with again. lol
And for the rest of the times I must look at these pictures and laugh .
My house has no Barbie's, but I don’t have any shortage of cars! And don’t worry Bumblebee is here to protect me!
No shortage of food here, we just find it in places it should be like under the bed or even a track in the heater which made a worse smell I think then the milk cup under the bed.
My artist sometimes don’t think paper is needed.
Walls and toy boxes triumph over the might Magic Eraser.
Mom’s may not get paid much but the smile and hugs is all worth it!
It was one of those amazing weekends that kept us a moving! Saturday was the day of stuff as much as you can in one day. Saturday was a busy day at work and then some running around then off to a bouncy house party! Since we live in the North West it of course rained but the kids had fun anyways! It was a great time plus it was at a friends house that I haven’t seen since High School.
Then after the birthday party we head back home to meet Cole’s school at the Rainier’s Game. Can I say again how much I love this school. Our tickets came with a hotdog, chips and a drink. The boys actually did really well. Caden got a bit antsy but it was fun and for you who know me know I HATE baseball and I actually enjoyed it.
Then Sunday after church we headed to a friends house for a little play time. I then thought we would go to a park. So after 2 places and a no go I thought what the heck let’s go to McD’s and the kids can play. This is when I almost went postal! There were around 20+ kids running screaming. When a BIG dad came marching up to me screaming at me I need to check my kid and he was out of control and he threw a young kid? I was WTF? Cole is a lot of things loud and has tons of energy but I HAVE NEVER seen him throw a child. Then the guy brought the mom over to me to show the back. I made Cole apologize but I was beyond words. If I was on my game I probably would have smacked the dad. I talked to Cole and Caden later and he said in tears he never threw the kid. He did trip and accidently pushed him. I was so furious that guy made me feel so small along with all the NASTY looks I got from other parents that had no clue but immediately made my son the bad guy. NEXT time dude you get in my face you’ll be on your arse!!
It was my turn to make dinner for the youth group at church so I whipped up a great potato soup (I added in some spinach to give them a little more veggies). I know most of these kids only eat fast food so I love to make sure I give them something new each time it’s my turn. The youth group leader came up to me on Sunday to tell me how much they enjoyed it! Got to love that!
Crockpot Potato Soup

I made this for the youth group dinner at church and I’ve been told they loved it ;).

As you may have guessed by now meatballs are a favorite around here. On my mission to eat healthy I’ve been looking for those great recipes with the flavors we love but not with all the calories. I have found two great meatball recipes and then some yummy zucchini pancakes .
First off are a favorite that Rick (who we all know rather eat fast food then good food, went back and ate the ALL the left over meatballs). Swedish Meatballs are a hit I must say!
Swedish Meatballs (WW 5pts)

These meatballs were so yummy and the sauce was amazing. Rick actually went back for seconds and for him that is unusual.

More yummy low cal but full of flavor and of course veggies! As always you must check out the website I get MOST of my meal plans from and that would be SkinnyTaste.com, she is an amazing cook that find recipes makes them low fat and then figures out Weight Watcher Points for you who follow along with that diet. I promise you will stay there for almost every meal like me.
We start with soup that was perfect to have before we went to swim class. I like doing soups or crockpot recipes on those days to make it easy to go. I found this yummy Slowcooker Cheeseburger Soup was a hit with the boys! Mom even enjoyed a bowl of it!
Slow-Cooker Cheeseburger Soup (WW 6 Pts)

A yummy soup that pleased everyone in the house

Next on the list was a yummy Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken for when guest came over. I say it was a hit since we didn’t have anything left. I almost wanted to have two .
Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken

A fabulous way to have chicken and have a little veggies also :).

And for my love of Sweet Potato’s I found this recipe of course on my favorite site SkinnyTaste.com for Baked Chipotle Sweet Potato Fries. I think my friend and I could have just ate these all night for dinner!! YUMMY was the word that I think kept being mumbled by us.

As you know Sweet Potato Fries are my FAV and this recipe did not disappoint!!

Happy Monday Everyone I hope you have a wonderful day and maybe enjoy something tasty from here! Let me know if you do try them I always love to hear what other people think .
I’ve been so proud of myself I have been planning my meals and sticking to it for the last 6 weeks. I make my meal then go to the grocery store with that list and that is what I buy. I have found I have cut our grocery bills by $20 to $30. I don’t have the crazy what are we having for dinner and then eating late or bad foods. So I thought why not play along with the meal plan ladies .
Here is what we are planning this week, I’ll post pictures and the recipes threw out next week. Maybe you’ll find something you’ll like too!
