Minecraft Gift Idea

One of my friends was having a minecraft party for her son. I of course wanted to do a Minecraft themed gift. The boys and I got busy making items that we did for Cole's Minecraft party last year.  Thank God Caden is like me and loves making things, he sat with me doing the perler beads.

We made a large version a treat bag to put the gifts in, check out my tutorial here.

We made Perler Beads in the shapes of the characters, check out my tutorial here. It takes a little time put they are so cool when you're finished.

We bought a Minecraft T-shirt to add to the bag.

We picked up a green water bottle at the Dollar Tree and cut down my stencil from the bag and put it on the bottle and made an outline. Cole then colored it in for me.

Twizzlers for TNT - black sharpie and tada TNT.

Kisses in a bag with a label Diamonds.

Glow stick Ax

Caden also made a rainbow loom bracelet in green and black.

Cole glued on creeper and Steve sleeves onto mini candy bars. See the free printable on Keep It Simple

Any Themed parties planned?

Thanks for Stopping by!

Minecraft Bento Lunch

I gave up making the themed lunches a while a go when the boys seemed to be more into hot lunches then anything I could make.  Then the other day they asked why they hadn't gotten any of them lately.  Oh yes be still my heart they want something I make!! So I went on the hunt for an easy Bento lunch and what came to mind but their favorite video game Minecraft. I did a quick Google Image Search and found a cool idea on Bento Better Lunches. I of course made it my own and did a little twist on her's.

What you Need:

Bread (Sandwich of your choice)
Green Grapes
Brownie
Cheetos
Fruit Roll Ups (Orange & Purple)
Square Cookie Cutters
Bread Cutter (Crust Removal)

Cut your bread to be a square, I used a sandwich cutter to cut the crust off and to make a perfect square.  I then cut the top corners to make room for the hair.  I cut a Fiber One Brownie to make the shape of the hair.  For the eyes I used my mini square cookie cutter to cut out fruit roll ups.  I shopped at Grocery Outlet so I didn't have a lot of choices in color so I found some Despicable Me Fruit Roll Ups in a yellow / blue color.  I made Steve's eyes and mouth out of Yellow Fruit Roll Ups.  Instead of the apple I made a square creeper out of green grapes, held together with tooth picks.  For the creeper eyes and mouth I used my cutter and cut blue fruit roll ups.  And of course for the "carrots" are cheetos.

Easy Peese but the looks they'll get from friends is so worth it!
