On the Brink Book Giveaway (5 Winners)

Ok my political minded friends I have a new book for you to check out! I like to throw in a book every once in a while that keeps your mind thinking and enjoying a book that is not our usual romance or murder mystery. Don't worry I'll have more of those but I know some of you enjoy a book that is based on truth and our society.

Henry M. Paulson, Jr., the former CEO of Goldman Sachs was appointed the nation's next Secretary of the Treasury in 2006. He took a leap from Wall Street to Washington expecting all the bumps that would come along with them move.

Some could see it but most did not see the financial crisis that we're still digging out of. Paulson found him self in the middle of this crisis since the Great Depression.

Read along as Paulson's gives his first person account. This sadly was a once-in-a-lifetime economic nightmare (at least we hope those are true word). The downward spiral brought unprecedented chaos while all eyes turned to the United States Treasury Secretary to avert the disaster.

A great read and to see it from his first-person account, see it more than an account about numbers and credit risks gone bad it's a story about people and politics-all brought together during the world's impending financial Armageddon. Even if your have different political views it's always interesting to see it for a different view.

The 8th Confession Book Giveaway (5 Winners)

As many of you know from my rants about how they took off one of my favorite shows Women's Murder Club based on the popular series James Patterson. So they took away my tv show but I still have my books to read, now to get James Patterson to crank these out faster!! :)

James Patterson's newest novel in the series is The 8th Confession. This one had me giggling, a little sad and of course had to fan myself at a few times in the steamy parts! Now you're going to have to imagine me on the elliptical doing these items, yup you see now you're laughing too!

He does a wonderful job of tying in there personal lives, romances and of course a murder mystery that makes you wrapped up into there world! The richest people in San Francisco are ending up dead, with no leads to what killed them! Can these cases be linked to a case in the 80's where the only link to what happened to them was one ended up with a poisons snake leading to the cause of why they were killed.

The killer is watching taking everything in from the side lines and you'll never guess who taught her how to do these killings! Can they solve these murders and catch the killer before the rich have to go into hiding? Along with these murders add in a homeless man that was beaten to death so severally that you couldn't recognize him. Was he the saint Cindy is portraying him in her article or is it a deeper story?

Follow on with my favorite ladies Detective Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn (my fav because she full figured), Reporter Cindy Thompson, DA Yuki Castellano as their love lives take a turn and they follow so interesting cases!

Sin with a Scoundrel Blog Tour Giveaway (5 Winners)

I say we stay with tradition and go with Steamy Saturday! LOL I just to show off a new romance novel to add to your collection! Romance novels are the best way to just forget about the day and read, plus hello those covers are just out of this world! OK any one else watch Shear Genius? Great hair styling competition show and one of there last challenges was to do hair for a romance novel! LOL it was funny seeing how they come up with these covers! Sorry I just had to throw that out there!

Today for Steamy Saturday I bring to you To Sin With A Scoundrel! In this story you meet Lady Ciara Sheffield (yes just like the author's name with a i) a scientific scholarship widow. Her life is ruled by rumors of her killing her husband with poison! This of course brings her name into the London gossip columns, bring more shame to her name. Not knowing it but her life is about to become even more of a gossip train when you insert the Earl of Hadley. He does not have murder attached to his name but rules of polite society is not in his nature. The two of them could take up the gossip columns by storm!

So they come up with a plan to bring both of their names from the gossip side to the high society side. If Ciara was to be engaged the rumors of murder would go away (I know it's a weird society, here that would be on the front of OK mag). Hadley could do with a scholar to bring up his name sake. This temporary alliance begins just that but as we all know what happens when you add in seductive dance of sinful pleasures and hidden desires! Oh but as you know I'm going to leave you hanging with that steamy thought!

Countess of Scandal Book (5 Winners) Giveaway

First off I'm sorry I was suppose to have this giveaway up last weekend, but Caden being sick threw a wrench into my life. So hold on ladies here is an amazing steamy book!

You will meet Irish Countess Eliza Blacknall, her childhood friend William Denton use to run wild in the Ireland fields swearing they would always be friends. Well as we know times change when you grow up she became a countess of course proper and Will went away to England.

Fast forward years when Will will return a dashing English soldier that is not coming back on happy terms he's been sent back to crush the Irish uprising. Eliza now all grown up has found herself at opposite sides when she joins the Irish Rebels.

You just going to have to read and find out what side Will chooses, does love of woman and land concur all?

This is a steamy one that is great for late night reading!
