A new book that guys and girls will love! Ok I must admit I'm not a big sports fan so the name James Brown means singer sensation not a NFL Pre-Game show host. Yes Rick will not let me live this one down for a long time!
I was presently surprised by Role of a Lifetime it was a wonderful mix of life lessons, hardwork, faith and the installment of values. All things I would love my boys to posses. James Brown was raised in a middle class home, received a scholoraship to Harvard, went on to become a professional athlete then to a become a broadcaster for major shows like NFL Pre-Game Show.
He's core values are a wonderful breath of fresh air and truly picked me up. This really touched me to:
His message that shortcuts and gimmicks are counterproductive to a person's success provides hope that there is a God who cares about them and their futures.
If you're looking for an uplifting biography you must check out Role of a Lifetime I promise you'll love it as much as I did. It's hard to find people these days that speak about Faith, Family and significance of living.
