Well I tackled one room!

So after work yesterday, Rick was home so he took Cole to Sylvan and I was able to clean clean!  Ok I only cleaned ONE room but I did it!!  I actually went threw all of my clothes don't fit into (THIS is a good thing they are all too big ... YUP 4 sizes down).  So all to big clothes are going into the to be sold pile and I actually even cataloged and put them up on Craigslist.  I'm giving them 1 week to sale if not they will be donated and NOT allowed back into my closet!  YUP I'm on a mission!

Then I caught up on all the laundry, that included I swear every piece of clothing of the boys hung up and put in their drawers.  I can now see my floor and the desk in my room who knew I had so much space!!  I now can see my bed and was able to put our new comforter set on.  Looking good!

WWW ~ Painting, Swimming & Stepping Stone Project

Another amazing and crazy weekend! It was super hot here this weekend so it was a get out of the house before we melt.

Rick had 2 days off in a row and totally busting his rear to get our project done. I was so proud of him for working so hard and getting this done for me. He's trying to earn back some brownie points :). We won't let him know but he's making some up :). He retextured all the walls, painted and put up the molding around the doors and the waynes coating!

Saturday after work the house was boiling and we had to get out before the boys went nutty! We went to visit one of my childhood best friends who live 2 doors down from my parents. Cole even was able to go out and swim by himself which he doesn't usually do. We had a few good drinks and just hung out. I even finished a book, next time I promise to get in the water and noodle with the girls.

Adventures in Caden, he had so much fun on DRY land ... lol he got a bit in the water and more adventurous. We tried the no diaper since it was waste-less to keep putting new ones on. Sadly the only undies where Khari's ... lol I at least turned the pink ones inside out.

Cole had adventures in Stepping Stones. Sadly was a little too eager to paint and it broke so we have to make a new one but it was fun.

Another hot few days here, hoping it will cool down. But the weekend ok if it's hot we'll go swimming again :). Have a great week!

WWW ~ Me time and Even a Date Night

Well it was one heck of a weekend as always. I set out to take care of me, I've been putting myself off for sometime and knowing that if I don't feel good about me then I'm not doing any good for anyone around me.

Saturday after work I was surprised by my parents stopping by to take the boys for a few hours. My prayers had been answered! They took them over to my grandfather's estate to run around and I got some me time. Then surprise #2 my friend texted me to see what I was doing, she headed up and we hit the town. We got pedi's it was so nice to sit and talk and enjoy adult time!! She got a parfin wax on her hands also :). I took advantage of it and got my eyebrows waxed! Then taking full advantage we hit the hair salon to get my hair cut, had a little weight so we hit subway for lunch. What a heck of a day! Oh yes mom and Christina bought me coffee, talk about a Heaven Sent Day!!!

Fun things with the boys, the airforce base had an air show the last weekend, so the boys set up their own airshow on my fence :). Caden who loves rocks is now a klepto and "borrowed" some from the empty lot next door ... yes I made him take them back. Caden decided to roller skate around the house, as I hear a click click down the hall to see this :). Our neighbor buddy came over, we're sure going to miss them they move this weekend :(.

Hair cut time for Cole, when asked why Caden didn't get one I tell everyone to hide his bruises one day that boy will learn to walk. Cole started VBS down the street, our church's program was wrapped with the daycare and $500 so we went for the church down the street. He is LOVING it!!

Sunday I thought I'd do a quick weeding and revamp on my garden and yard. 3 hours later and missed church I got the bed cleaned up and had a few bugs stop by to say hi, even a frog but I couldn't catch him before he jumped.

Then Dad called and invited us up to the lake. Yeah I even went to Avenue to pick up a swimsuit since they were half off. Take that everyone who has been on me about buying a suit. Caden hates the water he's so like me :). Mom hates that I read, she rather chit chat me I take the time to read and enjoy :). Dad even made me a bloody mary, it was a great day!

Monday was our 7 year anniversary, my dad bless his soul was being so sweet and called and offered to take the boys again! God was answering my prayers this weekend. We ended up using the last of our GC at Anthony's and even got to meet up Dad and the boys for a walk around the river.

What a full packed weekend, I'm so glad I got some me time and even a date night. Working forward and hoping we are moving in a great direction.

WWW ~ Caden's Party & New Screens

OMGosh so Saturday was one busy day I got up to work at 6am. Then off to pick up last minute items and off to mom and dad's house. Thankfully started the party at 2p so plenty of time to get it set up and we really didn't have a lot to do. The day was hot and the lake was a perfect setting for the party. It turned more into a beach party and it took a little prodding to get me back on track. I know I became one of the parties I hate! Thankfully the lake and swimming kept everyone busy!

Rick took the kids in the paddle boat and on one of the jetskis. People like me sat on the beach part and enjoyed the sun and didn't hop in the lake. And no people I didn't bring a suit because a I don't have one that fits right now and b I'm not much of a swimmer. I have a thing about taking a shower afterwards. Since shower at mom's requires a 30 min suigy of the shower stall I didn't. So people who kept thinking it was because I was not wanting to show of my curvy body in suit that was not the case! I hope this will stop the freaking comments :).

I got home and felt the cold coming on :( and Caden got a little to sunburned. He did get a nap threw the party ... hehe we couldn't even wake him for cake or presents. So no 2nd job for me Saturday night and I missed church on Sunday. I'm still having coughing fits and trying to kick it.

It was a kind of a lazy weekend. Saturday I think I reached my breaking point and just didn't want to move. After working I was just spent, I think the months of pulling it all finally caught up with me.

Sunday it was Church, BBQ at Church and then up to my parents house on the lake for fireworks!

Sorry it's a quick one today I'm off because Monday was a day off! Whoo Hoo so I'm playing catch up!

I made it to Friday ...

I didn't think this day would come, well I knew it would but my mind it would come but my body and head just didn't want to believe it could come true. Today was like how the rest of this week was crazy and I thought I might just break down and either cry or pull my hair out or if I was lucky throw a stapler and hit someone. Just joking I would never do that, but it made a great picture in my head to make me laugh and to stop from crying. It wasn't that anyone was mean or rude to me it was that nothing was going right. First I had a going away card that was on my desk the other day until someone came in and told me they were taking it. Ok good it's off my desk, well today of course that person is out of the office and the card is missing guess who is getting the look like they lost the card. I have this great feeling it will somehow appear on my desk and make me look like a complete goof. I know it's not there I searched and cleaned and it wasn't there so if it reappears on Monday I'm going to be one unhappy camper. But of course it's not like you can say really I didn't loose it, it really wasn't hear the other day. That's when you get my famous third eye look, like I really am crazy. So after crawling on my hands and knees to see if maybe if fell down, I got up brushed myself off and tried to appear as lady like as I could while trying to stand and not hit my head on the desk. Yup that went over like a lead balloon, grace is not my middle name. So after running around crazy I'm still no closer to finding the card or completing any of my other task. I keep starting on a task and then someone comes in and ask me to do something else, then it takes forever to get back to the first task. I no longer can say it's "One of those days" because the days have been weeks, and then months and now I'm going closer to a year. I'm starting to loose hope that theirs a light at the end. I think I just need to except that my life will always been crazy with crackers mushed in my carpet, half eaten fruit snacks on the couch cushions and food not only on the floor but been walked in and trailed thru the house! Bring on the crazy I don't know what to do with out it.

Ok I so need a break after thinking that whole sentance up! So just to add some fun to my life I take a trip to my parents house. I can't believe it's almost 7pm by the time I get there, what a long day. It was nice though everyone played outside and I was able to just chase one kid. Dad took Cole and played ball, while Mom took Roy and played Whiffle ball, my only charge was the youngest Caden who know that he has learned to walk is oh so daring and NO is not in the words he chooses to listen to. Rick was suppose to be right behind me but of course got caught up and didn't get there until 7:30ish. He took Roy out Jetskiing while Cole threw Rocks and Caden tried yet again the escape routine.

It was a great night we got home in time for me to set up my new Internet. Oh you mean it takes time to do that? REALLY can't I just plug it in and it will start up? Of course not it took forever for it to load. Just in time for me to log in for my 2nd job, computer was acting very slow and hung up a few times. Now a normal person would take this as a sign and call their IT guy in the morning (in my case my dad) and not try to push it. Not my case, I say I'll take on a 2nd shift at 6am even though this shift ends at 1:30am. I can do it, just bring on the coffee! Fingers crossed today goes well!
