True Learning CD Giveaway!!!

I'm so excited the amazing people at True Learning liked my review so much they have offered a CD to one lucky reader! I'm going to include my review below so you can see what True Learning is all about! I'm so excited you are going to LOVE this CD as much as I do. And one quick thing I learned and of course didn't thing of is .... you can put a clear plastic over the print out. This way you can use whip off markers to do the activity, this way you can do the page over and over! I know isn't that too cool, plus you're saving money on paper and saving the planet by not creating more waste!

Here is my REVIEW I did :):

I've had the best time doing reviews and trying products but I really enjoy ones that help my kids. True Learning is one of those amazing places I came across that is amazing helping kids with Early Learning Curriculum. True Learning comes on a convenient CD-Rom that is easy to print from, this way you can print as little or as many worksheets as you would like. On this amazing little CD you will find over 3,000 different exercise for your child to do.

Cole just love them, I printed out a few different ones for him to try. Of course he loved the color ones (under Art), we also worked on Math which is perfect with him getting ready for kindergarten and he needs to work on writing his numbers. The True Thinking was one Cole told me he liked to do with his teacher at school. Figure out what is different, which one is longer, find the same shapes etc. Yes we even had to take our print out to share with the other kids at school. The preschool teachers were very impressed with detail and the encouragement it gives the child to do each worksheet.

If you have young children or know someone who does this CD is an amazing tool to help them with school. For $19.99 you can order the CD to get started or for $1.99 per month you can get an online subscription (easy online access to the entire library, no shipping and No long-term obligation... cancel at any time). Really for what your child would gain this is priceless but when you think about how much you spend on work books that have what 30 to 60 pages you pay$29.99 (well at least that was the price on the one I just looked at my mom bought for Cole). Just think if you have more then one kids buy the CD and you use them for each child.

Plus you know how I love companies that give back, True Learning has 25% of Profits Go to Educational and Charitable Efforts Committed to improving the lives of children through education, True Learning donates 25% of profits, after taxes, to educational and charitable efforts directed toward children.

Please take a moment to check out this amazing site, you won't be sorry. Cole loves this and anything that gets this boy to sit down is a miracle! Enjoy!

Weekend Wrap Wednesday ~ Yet Anoter Sick one ...

UGH ... When will I be well again? Well I broke down and went to the doctor, I know close your mouth! But then the reason I hate going to the doctors, mine was of course not available they squeezed me in. Great of course traffic sucked and go figure 10 minutes late, hey no whoopee they make me wait like 1/2 hour ever time right? Of course not today she's on time so guess what I now have to wait, yup don't you just love that turn around? An hour late I get taken back to go to the dreaded scale. Really I'm sick do you think that is torture enough? Nope hop on, so I do the whole look the other way thing. You know because if I don't look at the number then it won't be true right? Then I go back to the lovely little room, mind you Caden in toe (who also is not feeling good). The whole time thinking ahhh it can't be that bad right? Then the nurse starts entering in all those numbers and usually I look the other way today since I was in need for more pain right now. I looked and almost fell off my chair Holy Crap, I REALLY need to loose some weight. So there it is girls I've said it and NOW I have to do it, I'm going to do it. Yes I need to keep saying that until my elbow and mouth disease stop, you know that one every time my elbow bend my mouth opens ... LOL
Back to my lovely doc replacement, who was a lovely Russian Woman that had a very thick accent and I probably looked def also since I was leaning in trying to hear the words so I could understand her. Poor thing I think was new because she kept telling me what the book says for colds! So rounds and rounds we go for moxicylen if it would be ok to give it to me or if I need to wait another week like "the book" says. Finally she agrees to give me some and then ask about what spray I'm using. I say Afrin and you should have seen her face, like I slapped her! I guess Afrin is bad it can be addicting! So guess what she wants me to take yup a steroid for my noise ... LOL.
So after all that and Caden feeling sick you think she would look at him too. Nope that would be another copay and a different visit ... UGH! Whatever! Off to the pharmacy I go and another 30 minute wait, oh my life! So I walk around Target to spend more money I didn't need and a runny nose mom and toddler bumping up and down the isles wasting another 30 hour of my life. Finally it's time I go to pick up my prescriptions, 1st one rings up $4 alright I can deal with that and then the kicker $40 for the next one. Poor guy behind the corner never saw what hit him, I was like WTF ... well I didn't swear but I was very shocked. Of course this stupid steroid has no generic! So $40 and here I am ... no wonder you get addicted you want to use every last drop for that cost ... just playing but still $40 for 17 squirts? And 17 squirts? What is up with that when you're suppose to spray 2 per nostril? Yup if this sick brain can't wrap it's mind around that one!
So it was a sick weekend, got a call from Cole's school Friday to pick him up with a 102.2 temp. Had to leave early since Rick of course couldn't. Mind you I left early Wednesday because of being sick, had Thursday schedule off for the field trip and now leave early on Friday. Yup boss not happy, I just can't win. Then Saturday besides working both jobs, we went to the lake to enjoy hopefully some sun and water and it was just too hot. Caden started puking everywhere, I pick him up and oh yeah puke down my back too! Sunday I couldn't move off the couch, no craft day :(. And Monday my usual day off but working for the other job I couldn't even move then either! I couldn't even get enough strength to check emails!
So there it is a poop and sick Alexis ... UGH! Sorry I haven't been commenting this week, I'm hoping to be back in full swing soon. If not Saturday watch out I'll be on all of your sites! Sorry again, miss reading all your fun sites!

Tempt My Tummy Tuesday - Hamburger Noodle Casserole

You know me by now I buy things in bulk, cook them up and then mix them up in different recipes each night. So this time it was left over hamburger, found a yummy macaroni dish. One thing I would change is less bread crumbs next time.

All you need

Heat up ground beef & add onions
in casserole dish add Cream of Chicken

Add a can of Cream of Mushroom

Add Sour Cream

then stir in the meat

have a helper do the noodles.

Add the noodles

Top with bread crumbs

Out of the oven!

2 lbs. hamburger

1 c. chopped onions

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 c. sour cream

3/4 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. Accent

1/4 tsp. pepper

3 c. cooked noodles (1/2 of 1 lb. bag)

1 c. bread crumbs

Cook onions in fry pan in little oil, until tender. Add meat until cooked. Add the seasonings, salt, pepper and Accent. Mix noodles, soups and sour cream in separate bowl. Add beef and seasonings to the noodle, soups and sour cream mixture and put in a 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake for 1/2 hour in 350 degree oven (or until bubbly); uncovered.

Serves 8 to 10.

Make Something Monday ... Pizza Quiche

Make Something Monday
Last Monday I linked to my new new friend Kristie at Kristie's Notes who gave me the yummy Taco Quiche. I asked nicely (ok I begged) for another quiche recipe and she knocked it out of the park for me again. Check out another yummy quiche, my fav is still the Taco Quiche but this is still another yummy version! Check it out!

What you need to start
Sauce in the bottom of pie pan
Add Peperoni (I snuck in Turkey Peperoni)
Add Olives
Add Mozzarella Cheese
Whip up the Eggs
Add Milk to Egg Mixture
Add a little Garlic Pepper to Add Mixture
Pour Egg Mixture on top of Pepperoni
Throw a few pepperoni on top
400 for 30 to 35 for my oven (learned that last time)
Put it into the oven.
Check out my oven Rick cleaned it for me!!
Golden Brown and Yummy!
Here is what Kristie sent me I told you I asked nice (yes begged) so she didn't even have time to post it before I had her email over the recipe ... LOL. What the pie crust comes in a 2 pack I needed to use the other one. Ha-Ha, Thank you Kristie I love it!

Here is her version I changed a little of the ingredients:

I just put 1/4 cup sauce on the bottom of the pre-baked pie crust, then about 1/8 cup of each topping you like on pizza. (I used pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper and onion.) Then I put 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese on that. I mixed up 3/4 cups milk with 3 eggs, some salt and pepper and poured that over the toppings. I then put some garlic salt on top and more pepperoni-so it would look like a pizza :-) Everything else as far as baking was the same (400 degrees for 35-40 minutes and cover the edges with foil.)
