Bringing Treats to the Parties

We had two parties to go to this weekend.  The first was a birthday party for friends’ son.  He wanted spiderman so I found 2 recipes that were spider themed!  The first one was Saucy Spider with Hairy Leg Sticks.  Mine was a little on the fat side … yeah no comments we won’t go there but I think he was still cute! I did make my own pizza dough.

Next on the spider theme was Spider “Eggs”, I started first with EatingWell Deviled Eggs and then cut black olives to look like spiders.

And for a superbowl party I found this yummy Jalapeno Popper Dip that was so yummy I could probably eat it all Smile.

I hope you found a recipe you may like to try.  I didn’t have time to make up the fun little recipe cards (if any one has an easy way to add to blogger let me know).  FOR you who want to answer … lol no one on spot … What is for dinner tonight?

  1. LOL no one on the spot huh? I am going for a stress test this morning at 10:30 so I can't have any breakfast so I will want something good to eat this afternoon and it won't be a TV dinner.

I think your spider recipes are really cute and sound delicious too. I will pass on the popper dip though. Jalepeno peppers are way too hot for me.

  7. That spider was so cute! And that popper dip sounds fantastic!! Last night I made cheesey pot pie biscuits. Using biscuits and a muffin tin, made a chicken pot pit type filling, filled the biscuits in the tin and baked. It was really good and I'm sure there's a way to cut the calories and drop the points it would be too. Got it off Pinterest. I have it pinned ;-)
