Hoppy Easter ... Easter Coffee Gift

I was grand plans to post this Sunday AM, well it of course got a little busy .. lol.  I know I'm a bit late but this will be a great one to save for next Easter. I wanted to do something fun and easy for the Teachers and came across Bunny Brew Mini Coffee Cup Easter Treat Holder on Sue Stampfield's blog for Stampin Up. NOW I love stamps but that is not one of my strong suits so I took her idea and created it with my Cricut machine.

What you need:

White Coffee Cup (Target 6pk $3.99)
White Coffee Lid (same pack)
White Card Stock
Pink Card Stock
Cotton Ball
Blush
Pink ribbon
Black Sharpie
Glue
Hot Glue

You can use Oval cutters or punches to do this.  I'm on the let's make this quick so I used my Cricut.  I used my George and Basic Shape Cartridge that came with my machine. I swear I use this cartridge for almost every project.

With your white card stock cut 2 large ovals (I used the skinny oval option - 4") for bunny ears. 2 medium ovals (I used the fat oval option - 2") for the feet.  I also cut a tag out (it even cuts out a dot for you to put the ribbon through).

With your pink card stock cut a small heart (I used the skinny heart option - 1") for the nose. 2 medium ovals (I used the skinny oval option - 2") for the inside of ears. For the dots on the feet I couldn't get a circle small enough so I printed a B (4") and used the bottom dot of the B for the dots :).

I attached the heart for the nose.  Then using a sharpie I made a mouth and eyes.  NOW her's were perfect and amazing mine had a little character .. lol.  I wrote Hoppy Easter in the card tag.

I glued the pink on the white for the ear, then added the pink on the oval for the feet.  I then glued the ears (the back outside top of the lid) and feet on to the cup. I took my hot glue to glue a cotton ball on for the tail. I made a bow and hot glued it to the top lid.

I took some blush and a cotton ball to add the cheeks. I then took a hole punch to a Starbucks gift card made a hole and a then made a hole in the top side of the cup. I then attached to my tag and gift card with a ribbon to the cup. Put the lid on and done!

Hope you all had a GREAT Easter!

Thanks for Stopping by!

Coffee Lovers Gift ... Starbucks Coffee with Coffee Cup Card

Next on my list to do was a gift for my boss.  When I stayed at their house I noticed he was a big coffee drink like me.  He has a long drive to work so needs coffee on the go.  He was using a small popcorn cup (that I had given to them in a movie themed basket) for his coffee.  When I was at my bestie's house for a party she showed me these Starbuck's Cups that are plastic.  PERFECT for traveling, and Starbucks sells them for $1 YES you heard me right!!

For Card:
Card Stock
Coffee Sleeve
Printer
Scissors

I found this template on Heart on Homestead, this was the only place I found a free template so many other's charge please stop by and thank her.  This is super easy, I printed on heavy cardstock.  Before printing I copied into a word document and then added a little message.  "Brewing up" Birthday Wishes Just for You!  Cut out the 2 parts, the top of the lip you fold in half I added a little glue to make it stay down.  I took a sleeve and cut it down to size and and glued it on top of the paper.  Glue your two cup pieces down make sure you only glue on the side and bottom so you can slide the lid and message piece into the cup.

What you Need:
Starbucks Coffee (I bought at the grocery store on sale)
Starbucks Plastic Cups with Lid ($1 Each Starbucks)
Coffee Sleeves (Free at Starbucks - Grab a handful)

Put this all together in a basket or in a Starbucks bag with a bow on the handle.

I do get one of the PERKS ... (yes I used a pun)

I may not be able to eat all the treats but I do get to indulge in one item!  Now I've been off coffee for about 3 months but I was talking to a friend who is on the same diet (she's doing amazing and has lost like 70lbs in 6months ... I'm so proud of her and hope to be on my way to the same soon). She let me know they do want you to do the 8oz of coffee in the morning to help with your metabolism. So I thought well if I must ... LOL.  One amazing thing about working at my parents house is they have the really good K-Cups, you know the type I'm too cheap to buy ... lol!  Oh yes I'm talking about SEVERAL different Starbucks choices!  It looks like I'll be up here working for the next few weeks to help out with dad, he's hoping along on one foot (yes the broken one) supporting the other leg with the broken femur.  It's very nice working up here, it's quiet and I'm sitting in my daddy's office with pictures of people I love my kids and my grandparents.  So if I must indulge on coffee I've found the best place!
