The first few minutes of this movie cracked me up a kid dive bombing the parents in bed a bit before 5am. YUP that sounds very familiar. Love seeing Mark Wahlberg with out his shirt and there are some great laughs along the way. As I've been finding more and more the plots fall a little short here and there and at times you're like really. But you have an all star cast that will make you laugh. Rick and I actually got to sit a good portion of this and watch it together. A good rental, I say watch once and I'm good.
Who knew simple dinner reservations under a different name could turn one New Jersey couple's date night so terribly upside-down? Claire (Tina Fey) and Phil (Steve Carell) Foster leave their kids with the sitter (Leighton Meester) and head out for a night on the town -- as the Tripplehorns. Shawn Levy (Just Married, Night at the Museum) directs this action-comedy; Mark Wahlberg and James Franco co-star.
I loved Grey's back in the start when Izzy was that funny character that you loved but at times you wanted to slap .. lol. Heigl's character reminded me a lot of Izzy and I loved that. I'm usually not a Ashton fan but I actually liked him in this. It has moments where you like really all those bullets and NOT one hit them!!! I figured out who put the hit out before the hit was even put out but I still liked it. And then you add in Tom Selleck (hint in a new show on TV you must see too) who makes my heart go pitter patter and I'm all over it! Cute movie to watch & laugh, one I wouldn't buy.
When an elite assassin (Ashton Kutcher) marries a beautiful computer whiz (Katherine Heigl) after a whirlwind romance, he gives up the gun and settles down with his new bride. That is, until he learns that someone from his past has put a contract out on his life. Now, the couple must go on the run if they hope to survive and settle the score once and for all. This action comedy from director Robert Luketic co-stars Tom Selleck and Catherine O'Hara.
At the movie night at Cole's school a few weeks back was Space Buddies and I promised Cole I would find another one for him. I found Air Buddies and of course how could you go wrong with talking dogs and a dog napping. Boys loved it.
It's five galloping (and utterly adorable) golden retriever pups to the rescue when Mom and Dad get dognapped in this Disney family comedy featuring the voices of Don Knotts and Michael Clarke Duncan. The pups' ability to talk makes the mission easier, but danger and high jinks still abound as the dogs work to save their parents. Bonus material includes a "Train Your Dog to Be a Star" video and behind-the-scenes interviews with the pups.
I've never heard of this show but when looking threw the instant downloads on the computer list Cole requested this. I think it was because it had spiders and a worm on the front. A little odd cartoon, not sure it would be a favorite of mine. Cole thought it was cool.
Abandoned on the doorstep of a decrepit mansion as a baby, young Creepie is raised by a kindly family of insects, which includes praying mantis mom Caroleena, mosquito dad Vinnie and two brothers, Gnat and Pauly. Forced to leave the familiarity of home to attend middle school, Creepie must find a way to keep her insect family a secret and come to terms with a human world rife with bug phobia.
Another Cole pick, I have never been a fan of the Power Rangers but he is so a boy and anything that is like a ninja we of course would love.
Wicked space aliens are out to destroy Earth, and the Power Rangers must step in before it's too late. The leader of the gang of aliens, Divatox, is about to release the sinister power of an intense being called Maligor, currently held captive at a volcano on the island of Muiranthias. Can the mighty Power Rangers get there first and save the planet?
I never heard of this (and yes I was born before the 80's) but it looked a little silly to me. Cole found it on the instant on the download and love it. Yup it was silly but he liked it.
Jayce and the Lightning League take on the sinister Saw Boss and his Monster Minds to save the world from famine in this four-episode collection. With Saw Boss bent on destroying all vegetation, Jayce must find his botanist father, who holds the missing half of an antidote that can uproot Saw's evil plants. Episodes include "Escape from the Garden," "The Vase of Xiang," "Steel Against Shadow" and "Flora, Fauna and the Monster Minds."
I'm so excited I found Dinosaur Train was on the instant download from Netflix to the Wii. 8 episodes total so it was great amount to keep the boys busy. Plus since it's PBS they always have an educational factor.
Explore the prehistoric world with Buddy the T. rex, Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon, and dinos of all sizes on board a locomotive that moves across time and terrain in this animated Jim Henson series devoted to life science and natural history. Aquatic adventure is the theme of this collection, which has the Pteranodon family escorting Elmer Elasmosaurus back home, getting acquainted with friendly shark Carla Cretoxyrhina and visiting Paulie Pliosaurus.
i like watching growing up creepie more than ash. hehehehe
