Hi my name is MOM oh wait my birth-name is Alexis. These days it's MOM and yes that's right it comes out at a level higher then a scream! I have 2 very active boys. Hope you enjoy the wacky world I call life between working full time and taking care of the 3 boys (that includes my husband).
I love your random thoughts, especially the one about being in the summertime funk. I have no routine it seems and even though I have more time, my house is messier and my to do list just gets longer. Although my husband says I have problems sticking to one project, which is why I'm probably still up at 4 A.M. I went to check something on the computer, can't remember what it was, and saw your post. I'm going to bed, now.
I do not have any friends really anymore. It's sad what happens as you get older, married, kids, and all the other responsibilities. My friends obviously were never friends. I stay in my own little world, as I hate drama. It's never good and I avoid it as much as possible. I cannot wait until school starts, ours don't go back until after Labor Day....that's a long way away haha. Have a great weekend!
Totally agree with u on all ur ramblings sweetie! its so true as u get older u find out who were true friends...drama follows me around...im married to a family who thrives off drama i reckon every single day its something...just what a person who physically shows stress needs aka psoriasis is F U N..not.. currently dealing with the fact that my husbands brother who is 23 is sleeping with his step sister....who is just 16.... so yep... im physically and mentally disgusted in them both and trying to figure out why the rest of the family is ok with this.... am i not right in the head?? does anyone else see this as wrong???
I wish there was a magic pill that would make me want to really do the things that need to be done. I have been procrastinating for many, many years! Then it gets to be overwhelming and you don't even want to get near it. Hope your weekend is wonderful. ((HUGS))
I am so with you on the friend thing. I had a great cry last night. I did tell my husband I had you as a friend though. Hugs to you. Life does give us many paths and hard things that happen. I guess it makes us stronger..
When my boys were younger they fought a lot, even more so during the summer months when they were home together. I always looked forward to school starting up. I hope that my mother learns to forgive her oldest son, although I don't really know what went wrong. I have the sweetest brother. I think it might that they are not on the same level religious wise. I was told that my mom's health is deteriorating because she is not taking her meds. I just hope that she will talk to her son.
It's weird how when you are in school there are always TONS of friends around but once you get older they all disappear except for a few...do adults not need that circle or something?
Happy PINT! Supah's site hates me so I can't link up :p
I think we just start getting so busy that we forget to keep up the relationships. And then we move on and feel it's too late to revisit them. I guess, I don't really know. But I agree with you.

ReplyDeletenice one,
ReplyDeletewhen you are busy, it is hard to have pure girls' time.
As you get older you find your true friends and you find that THAT is a very small number.

ReplyDeleteI think Im in the same summer funk. I have so many projects to do around the house and no motivation to do them
ReplyDeleteI've been in a funk for weeks. My kids go back to school in a week and a half and it will get so hectic then. I'm depressed just thinking about it.
ReplyDelete13 more days until school starts here! I know what you mean about losing friends as you get older! Thats why we have blogging buddies! LOL

Maybe I'm anti-social, but I don't mind not having a lot of friends. I would rather just have a couple of close ones and then a all you bloggers!
