This is kind of a weekend plus some :). We've had a busy few days so I'm wrapping it all up into one post :).
Wednesday Cole had to sing for Lent Evening Services, Dad took us out for dinner after!
Thursday Power Co. post the power on our block will be out Friday!
YUP one day notice, had to work at my parents house, with all the temptations!
Don't worry I stuck to one (ok two cookies) ... they will be counted after I left for sure!
Friday Pizza night I whip up a little something for me!
Saturday I took the kids to McD's so I could read & they could play!
Sunday we visited a friends house and the boys played!
While I gave her a lesson in making bread.
Tuesday we had company come over to play & dinner!
We had so much fun! I hope we can do it on a regular bases.
I promise to cook if they come over :).
I love pesto! That dish is a must make for me. BTW those candy jars/cookie jars would have been definitely lighter if I had been there! Since I'm on a diet ...everyone probably would have seen my coat pockets a bit...um...ahem "full" on the way out the door! ;O) Blessings, Joanne
ReplyDeleteCookies are my downfall...they are too easy to take and eat!!! We have some frozen cookie dough (shoot, I just said that on your blog?? lol) and I have been cooking 2-3 for each person and then they are gone. Best thing ever! :) ...p.s. the cookie dough was a fund raiser from the fall and we still have at least 4 dozen...:)

ReplyDeleteThat corned beef looks yummy. How cool of you to teach your friend to make bread. Someday I'd like to know how, although I'm positive I'd make a huge mess. haha
ReplyDeleteLooks like tons of fun was had by all, except for having to deal with the power outage, working at your parent's house and ALL that entails.
ReplyDeleteGreat recipe! Looks yummy.
