I’m Bringing Pumpkin Back … Oh yeah & it’s sexy (oh yeah I went there)

Manic Monday Meals-1Hehe ok So I just had to Bring Sexy back … Ok I’m done it’s been one of those weekends and I’m a little loopy so bare with me Smile.

So I was in need to make dog biscuits and came across one with pumpkin and unless I wanted to make a quadruple batch I need to find another recipe to use the rest of the pumpkin. So I found a treat for us and for the pup!

I made these Peanut Butter Pumpkin Dog treats that Jake just LOVES.

Living w/ Boys & Smore Cookie Bars (PINT & RR Issue)

This is how I cope, I bake for the neighbors :). I found this amazing recipe from Tiffanee @ One Crazy Cookie. She lives very close to me one day I hope to meet up with this sweet lady!

Check her post on Smore Cookie Bars.
Smore Cookie Bars
Adapted from Betty Crocker
1 pouch sugar cookie mix (1 lb 1.5 oz Betty Crocker)
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups milk chocolate chips
3-4 cups mini marshmellows
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a larger bowl mix sugar cookie mix with the graham cracker crumbs. Add melted butter and mix until a soft dough forms. Lightly Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Press dough in the bottom of the pan and bake for 18-20 minutes or until set.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let stand for 3-5 minutes or until the chocolate has melted. Spread evenly over the top.

Found on the Food Network Website

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds McIntosh or other apple of choice (about 9 apples)
  • 10 large frozen strawberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice

Directions

Peel, core and slice apples 1/4-inch thick. Place apple slices in a large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until a sauce consistency, about 45 minutes. Use a potato masher, if necessary, to break up any lumps, but leave slightly chunky.
