Last week I was still spinning and Rick wasn’t still not on solid foods. So no real meal plans last week. I did make a batch of easy no bake cookies that I could take over to the neighbor’s house that is so sweet and let’s the kids play over there during the day when I’m working.
These were on the sweet side and next time I’ll use the sugar free pudding mix. The kids of course loved them … lol.

So Poor Jake doesn’t have a lot of excitement around here while I’m working so I try to get him something to chew on. I’ve tried a little of every toy out there. Usually the NON stuffing ones are a hit, but that bugger of a dog keeps sneaking them outside and even a good wash in the machine doesn’t clean them enough to bring in side. So I hit the pet store thinking ok I’m going to spend a little more but get a toy that last a long time and is easy to clean. I hit the toy isle on a mission then I was overwhelmed with all the choices. As you all know I love our dog but I’m not one of the mush buy outfits etc for the dog. I go in want to find one thing and out I go. After 20 minutes and thinking I rather pull out my eyelashes then try to find what toy may be right I come across this one that says right on the front “TUFF STUFF”. It’s made from neoprene material and the inside said it can last up against the toughest play. I’m thinking oh good this can last a good amount of time!
I walk in show Jake his new toy he almost bounces me over like I’m Fred Flintstone and he’s Dino (yes it’s spelled that way I googled it, pronounced Dee-no). I rip of the tag, before I’m run over again for it. And off he goes! I go about my work and with in 15 minutes Caden comes running in throwing fluff like it’s snowing in my kitchen. He’s giggling the dog is jumping and I’m feeling like I’m part of some children’s story gone wrong. I pick up the first batch of stuffing and try to pull out the rest so it won’t be a big mess. Thinking ok if I get rid of this he can just run around with the rope and the duck part of the toy. Yes you can see a picture below of him doing just that!
Then I go back to work and think he’s good for a while. With in an hour and half the head has been pulled off the stuffing has been removed the rope has a body that one resembled a duck left. And that darn stuffing is back all over my floor, that is the duck head in the middle of that mess. So I’ve moved from a Cat who left me dead mice to a decapitated duck. The head as my gift … Guess it’s better than the mice so I didn’t have to do the scream the little dance and then call for Rick.
Well $15 for an hour and half of fun … hmmm not sure on that one! Tuff Stuff you let me down like a bra that has last it’s elastic and underwire that is now poking me in my boob! Oh the life! And with that visual I’m going to back out with my once perking upper self 
IT’S BACK ….. you got it I made Cole go under the bunk beds to pull out all the toys so we could do a donation run and organize the toys somewhat into bins etc. I know bins so much fun is that mom? Well as I tell the boys it makes me happy and that is all that matters … hehe.
So you ask what can be so scary under the boys bed? Well let me take you on a little tour of the fun!

Well at least it’s low fat fruit snacks and granola bar.

That includes the finds of this time. I’m hoping the wild things will stay away from under the bed! Let’s hope for a long time before our next encounter!!!
By Saturday let’s just say I needed a glass of wine (and you who read & know me know that is a VERY rare thing). Yes I have posted about Jello Shots lately but really I may have gotten one of one of those batches, come to think of it I think I did only get one … yup not much of a drinker (food sadly is my passion and the muffin top along with muffin butt & thighs to prove it).
So Saturday afterwork I rolled my butt to the couch and NOT to the gym where I should have went. Then I got up and cleaned like a mad woman (that was because Rick moved to the couch and I no longer could rest … darn man … lol just joking). Poor thing was like a lump on the couch (he’s 2nd day home from the hospital). So I have this thing when I clean I’m a NUT and I know it. I start in one room then go to grab something in another room and start cleaning there. Let’s just say I started to clean the fridge by taking the drawers and shelves. Well I ended up leaving the door open went to grab a cloth and got distracted by the smell of pee from the boys on the toilet! UGH 4 HOURS later, I cleaned under the boys bed (Wait for the post tomorrow), the Bathroom, the kitchen and I even tried out my NEW Shark Vac/Steam. Which is pretty darn good (as best I can expect with this DARN shedding DOG).
After I cleaned until I couldn’t breath I headed to my friends house to fix her computer. You who have AOL and then try to change to a new provider, LORD you’ll be in for some work. AOL is really a pain in the butt to delete all the things it installs on your computer and even when you install a NEW provider it will over-ride it. My poor friend spent hours trying to get it set up, I thankfully got it cleaned up and set up so she now how internet! The boys of course enjoyed pool time and riding time! I did get to put my feet up (Rick was sweet Friday let me run and get a pedi so I showed off my toes).
Sunday was the carnival (yes the one I said I would NEVER do again) I was sucked back into it. And let me tell you it was a nightmare to set it up. AND the ladies in the daycare would help watch the boys they told me that they only were doing under 3 and my boys were pretty much NOT welcomed 
Then the flood gates opened early at 11am instead of 12pm and of course we weren’t ready but we rolled with it. I worked a popcorn machine from 11am to 3pm. WHILE guarding the cupcakes for the cake walk. OK on my soap box one more time! We had cupcakes made for the cake walk … ADULTS (yeah it wasn’t the kids doing this) kept walking up behind the game to grab cupcakes! I kept having to tell ppl I’m sorry those are for the game and then I would turn back to my popcorn to turn back around to see that same adult grabbing a cupcake thinking I wouldn’t SEE! THEN the adults took over the cake walk not letting KIDS play so they could win and they would keep playing until they got a cupcake. I saw one lady WALK OUT with 8 CUPCAKES! I also had the lady that loaded up 6 hamburgers and then get PISSED at me that I didn’t have a bag so she could carry them home in! THEN at 2pm when we ran out of hot dogs and hamburgers I had ppl actually yell at me why the food was out, and some even told me to go into the kitchen and find more! Between cupcakes and other free food I think I was about to loose it.
THEN it happened one of the teens came running over to me “CADEN IS NAKED GOING DOWN THE WATER SLIDE”. OH yes my little boy decided instead of asking me to put his swim trunks on he would just strip down NUDE and go down the slide with the kids. That picture of him in the wet T-Shirt is after I had to CRAWL in to the thing called the Vortex to get him since he would come to me. I had to try to throw clothes on him quickly. OH boy! And that last picture is me spent tired sweaty and wanting to go home!!!
Happy Wednesday everyone I’m still trying to get my barring's back between work, the kids and Rick moving slow.
Last week was not a good week for cooking in my house. I did put this in the crockpot and let it do it’s thing. I added in the Worcestershire sauce to give it a little kick (I’m sure that changed the points).

Last week meant not much cooking in this house, most nights were spent at the hospital with Rick. But my Tuesday night dinner guest did come over like usual. I had some peaches that I bought on my eat healthy snack kick. Well let’s just say the peaches were in the fruit draw and needed to be used soon! I found this Peach Cobbler on Laa Loosh (which is a favorite weight watcher site people).
Happy Monday everyone! We are doing better here at the house, Rick goes back to work today fingers crossed it all goes well. I hope to get back to cooking, working out and just being myself
