I'm really excited this will be my 3rd Giveaway for You Can Make This. I love making things and let me say I'm not the best person to sew but this has been a lot of fun and with an experienced friend I can accomplish a lot! Doing these projects have gotten me out of the house and had some adult time.
Times are hard and we're all looking forward to saving money and make our bottom dollar stretch. I've been seeing a lot of people making things for Christmas Gifts. And what a perfect way to do it then making something people will use. These won't be the presents that Aunt Erma made for you, remember that funny sweater you got one year? Yup the one they made you put on for Christmas? These will be super cute and easy things to make that will make the person receiving the gift feel special that you took the time to give them such a thoughtful gift!
I was given the pattern for the She Loves Me, She Loves Me KNOT Handbag and the Welcome Spring! 3 Pattern Pillow Set. I met my girlfriend at the fabric store yesterday and we whipped up this purse yesterday. Ok if you are not an experienced sewer get someone to help you. It is a little time consuming but the end product was worth it. I'm giving this one to a special little girl, I can't say who since her mom reads my blog and I want it to be a surprise :).

The Fabric store had these "Fat Quarters" ready to go
I picked out one that was pink and orange.
It was super cute with flowers and butterflies.
I just know she'll love it! I'm making her brother a blanket.
