Oh yeah they predicted 8 to 10 inches of snow and I think we are there or are very close to it! We live in Washington snow is not something we usually get a lot of. Rain now on the other hand, which is cool with me. But Snow can really throw a wrench into my day. Now Snow is great the kids can play and have fun and when I work OUTSIDE the home it was great. I could call into work due to not being able to drive there and just hang with the kids. Since my office is located in my house that leaves me with no excuse for not going to work. SO we are on DAY 3!!! of kids home. The kids go play for a while but come right back in and it’s all day long of “he touched me”.
THANK God Rick has the day off today so he can help out or you may all be seeing me in a looney bin! Wish me luck and that the snow goes to higher ground where people love it and I can look at it from the distance … lol!
Ahhh it's so pretty. The snow doesn't bother me at first, but it get's tiring. I'd be good if it was gone for good by February. Unfortunately we have 2 months of it after that.
ReplyDeleteI think you're getting our snow and we're getting your rain-lol! It is very pretty though, isn't it? :-)
ReplyDeleteI have to take Eli to the doctor today and I really don't want to go out there - it's frigid and windy which makes it worse. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteIt's here now. Been snowing since Sunday actually. On and off but we have about 6" on the ground now with the big storm about to get here.
ReplyDeleteI hope you all keep the snow there with you as I don't like the stuff. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like snow when it is falling but not driving in it or shoveling it and it gets filthy from traffic.
ReplyDeleteUgh and double ugh! I can totally relate...last year we were buried in it. Oh dear, 3 days?! Prayers are on their way!!!! The first few hours with the kids are great but then they start the bickering and you want to pull your hair out! Think spring! And wear ear plugs! On second thought if you wear them then you won't hear when they decide to take the sled up on the roof. God forbid!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne
Knock on wood, we haven't had much snow yet. I don't like it at all. Even though I work outside of the home, I still have to go to work with inches and inches of snow. If I can't drive there myself, they send an emergency management crew member to get me.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the snow. Those are some big flakes.
ReplyDeleteOh wow so much snow. Am loving the spoon measurement idea. What a great idea. I think I will have to make a rain measure with an old wooden spoon for Youngling. Wouldn't take long to measure as we always have rain here ;-) wrap up warm xx
ReplyDeletewow that looks like so much fun! i miss sledding! :)
