End of School Year Ideas ... Smartie Pants Treat Bags

I saw this really cute idea for Kindergarten treat bags on Ginger Baby Mama.  She made a cute note that she attached as usual I'm running around with several projects going on so I needed something quick and fast.  Thank you Google Search and I came across a super cute FREE Penguin Smartie Pants Printable on Nothing but Country.  I took my circle cutter and cut the tags out.  This was a super easy item to make, I hit the dollar store and picked up everything I needed.

Supplies Needed:

Clear Bags (25 for $1)

Ribbon ($1 - I thought I grabbed red but it's more a burnt red)

Pencils (12 pack for $1 - I bought 3 pks)

Bubbles (3 pack for $1 - I bought 3 pks)

Smarties (1 Bag $1)

Cardstock & Printer

What you do:

Take a clear bag add a bottle of bubbles, pencils and smarties.  I printed the cute printable and took my circle cutter to make a circle.  You could also use a punch with scallops or something fun!  I took a hole punch and punched a hole in my circle and added a ribbon.  Tied the bag with a ribbon and the tag!  Oh yes it was that easy, but so easy and I just know the kids will love these.

Simple and adored by the little ones!

I'm making 2 for a friend this weekend and had to make a practice one.
It's not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty cute!

Holy Moly yet another weekend. Saturday I work with a fire under my butt that is because my alarm didn't go off! Yup I was 20 minutes late, CRAP. Thank you Caden for turning mom's volume off AGAIN!!! Then my calls were way down, so that made for a tough morning ;(.

After I finished up it was time for yet another party! My friends 4 y/o was having a Pony party!!! Cole at first was like no way but then got right on and even went for another ride! Caden no way Jose would he even get close to it. He of course was doing his loner bit in the toy room. We had a lot of fun and the weather finally stopped raining!

Sunday we had church and the dream team meeting at church. I yet again signed up for more. Well I signed up for calling ppl to remind them about that they needed to bring in a dish. Then today I get a call that I have a list of 50 ppl to call for a BBQ this weekend. WTF??? I have to much on my plate and I didn't sign up for this. To say I'm pissed is a understatement. I think I need to have a talk with the pastor. I'm willing to help when someone is over loaded but not when they don't want to do the work! UGH. I'm feeling a little like my offering is being taken advantage of.

Then home we went for some slip and slide action with of course soap to make it even funner!

Caden's birthday is on 7/10 and I so spaced on invites so I dressed him up and took a quick picture of him. My parents are hosting the party at their house and to my relief my mom is buying the food. I almost had to push it off a week or two since I currently am in the red with my bank account. UGH I think we have some good news coming soon that will help drag me out, I'll keep you posted!

Hi everyone so sorry I haven't been along for the last few days, with Rick's unemployment situation. I've been spending my off work time helping with resumes and of course taking advantage of him being here so I can get some gym time in! I promise to be by soon! I'm so sorry I'm not ignoring you, please don't stop leaving comments I promise to catch up this week!

This weekend was jam packed, it was the first weekend I worked all 7 days. Sunday was our first day so not many calls for me to do so I was able to go back to bed for an hour before Caden got up with a cough and snotty nose ... ugh! No church didn't want to get the other kids sick so we hung home, the whole day Cole kept asking to go play he even begged to go to McD's playland! UGH that is probably the H**L place that Caden sick since he doesn't leave the house!

So a quick recap ... and oh yes a quick recipe. It was a box one which I don't usually do but Sunday as you know not a good day and hello I'm down one income so my scratch desserts for the neighbors will be cut back!

Saturday we headed to Rachael's for some fun bubble blowing.

The boys had fun and I only had to raise my voice like 15 times .. lol

Glad to know my husband isn't the only one that hides when the kids are running crazy

My boys are loud glad we're still invited back .. lol

We did a little shopping and a little sleeping.

Poor Caden started to not feel well.

Then headed to my parents house for some fun and dinner!
