Well Cole has sworn off sandwiches for lunch, so I haven't been making bread every Sunday like I was doing. This week was different since Roy (our exchange student) school was having half days and his extended care doesn't provide lunch I had to make his lunches. I thought cool I'll make some bread and the left over bread I'll use for French Toast (check out Make Something Monday next Monday for that). So Girls here is a super easy recipe, you now how I love the Semi Homemade way! I love fresh bread but not doing it all myself, so this is where the bread maker comes in handy!
Add Sugar
Fast Acting Yeast and let sit (this is the first time I had to do this)

ReplyDeleteI must be doing something completely wrong because I always buy...wait for it...Wonder Bread and think I'm doing something right when the answer all along has been to make it myself...where on earth do you find the time? Seriously I barely have time to eat and sleep and I don't even have another job unless you count blogging and then in that case I love what I do...lol!
ReplyDeleteYou do know that my bread maker doesn't work??? LOL jk... it looks awesome,I really miss my bread maker!
ReplyDeleteMmmm...looks delish! I always say I'm going to get ambitious and start making bread!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been brave enough yet!
Home made bread is the best! I do it the old-fashioned way though, I don't have a bread maker. It's ok though cause then I can use my stoneware bread pan! Yay kitchen stuff! :D I'm a dork. I know. I'm sorry. lol. If I was going to do this not in a machine, can I just let the yeast rise, mix it all and let it double...yadda yadda? I'm assuming it would come out the same? I'll have to try it. Worst that can happen is that I wind up with a big crouton!
ReplyDeleteI love homemade bread! We actually just got a breadmaker-can't wait to make some yummy bread and add a few pounds to my thighs-lol. You and your recipes are gonna be the death of me ; )
ReplyDeleteI so have to get a bread maker! I can almost smell that bread in your picture!
