Looking for a way to sneak in some veggies and have a hardy pot pie, well I found one that was a hit here with the boys. Yes I love my Bisquick it's my friend and never lets me down, until other ... LOL just playing. Truly this was a simple easy meal that was very inexpensive to make which is always on my mind. Enjoy!
What you'll need
Add in Worcestershire Sauce
Add in Sour Cream
Dash of Pepper
Dash of Salt
Add the ground beef
Place in baking dish

Ingredients:
1 lb. beef chuck, boneless, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 tbsp. butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
1/4 c. cold water
3 tbsp. Bisquick baking mix
Directions:
In a large, heavy saucepan, brown beef in butter. Remove beef. Cook onion and celery until onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except cold water and Bisquick. Add back meat. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Prepare biscuits below. Mix cold water and Bisquick until smooth; gradually add to beef mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Arrange biscuits on top. Bake until browned, 10-12 minutes. Serves 5-6.

Mix together until soft dough forms. Turn onto board covered with cloth or waxed paper. Knead 10 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut out biscuits.
